Scheduled departures to Puerto Vallarta leave on a daily basis from various locations in the village area. You can catch the Water Taxis from Isabel's beach, the playita (little beach) pier, which is right next to the Yacht Club, on the main beach, or on the Hotel Lagunita pier. The Water Taxis cruise by all of the locations and pick up anybody that is waiting. Travel to, and from Yelapa is increasing greatly every year and space on a water taxi is often limited. It is highly recommended hat you purchase your tickets early. The price of the Water Taxi to P.V. is 350 pesos one way, and 550 pesos roundtrip. The price of the Water Taxi trip does include your baggage, but only that of which you can carry. If you have extra baggage, you may be required to pay a little extra. For transport of larger cargo please make prior arrangements. It is best to be a little bit ahead of time to ensure that you do not miss the boat, as they do sometimes leave earlier than the scheduled departure time.You can pay on the boat, or buy your tickets beforehand, which is a much better idea. They can even arrange a private water taxi for you. | |||||||||||
