Scheduled departures to Yelapa leave daily from different locations in the Puerto Vallarta area. Good News! There is now a Water Taxi Office in Vallarta, which is located at the end of the Los Muertos Pier, across the street from Dee's Coffee. The office is there to assist visitors with your travel to Yelapa. Go on in and speak to the staff, and check out the services that they offer. The office is open every day. Travel to Yelapa is increasing greatly every year, and space on a water taxi is often limited. It is highly recommended that you purchase your tickets early from them. The price of the Water Taxi is 350 pesos one way, and 550 pesos roundtrip. The price of the Water Taxi trip does include your baggage, but only that of which you can carry. If you have extra baggage, you may be required to pay a little extra. For transport of larger cargo please make prior arrangements. It is best to be a little bit ahead of time to ensure that you do not miss the boat, as they do sometimes leave earlier than the scheduled departure time.You can pay on the boat, or buy your tickets beforehand, which is a much better idea. They can even arrange a private water taxi for you. | |||||||||||
